Apartments burglarized in Albany Park: police

In each incident the person entered apartments through a window, police said.

Three apartments were burglarized in Sept. and Oct. 2019 in Albany Park on the North Side.

Chicago police are warning Albany Park residents of three burglaries reported recently in the North Side neighborhood.

In each incident, a male burglar entered apartments through a window, Chicago police said in a community alert. In two incidents he took property from the apartments and in one incident, the victim saw caught the man inside their apartment and he ran before he was able to take anything.

These burglaries happened:

  • Between Sept. 27 and Sept. 30 in the 4300 block of North Kimball Avenue;
  • Between Oct. 7 and Oct. 10 in the 3600 block of West Cullom Avenue; and
  • Oct. 11 in the 4300 block of North Kedzie Avenue.
