A stabbing near the intersection of Leclaire and Fullerton, Nov. 22, 2019 left a 15-year-old boy wounded.

A 15-year-old boy was wounded in a stabbing Friday in Cragin on the Northwest Side.

About 4:40 p.m., officers responded to the 5000 block of West Montana Street for reports of a person stabbed, according to Chicago police.

The teen told officers that two males approached him at the intersection of Leclaire Avenue and Fullerton Avenue, police said. A fight broke out and one of the males pulled out a knife and stabbed the teen.

He suffered lacerations to the chest and hand, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.

No arrests have been reported. Area North detectives are investigating.
