Police are investigating after a man was shot multiple times Thanksgiving day in west suburban Aurora.

Officers responded just after 1:40 p.m. for a call of a person shot in the 900 block of North Avenue, Aurora police said. There, they found a 31-year-old man with several gunshot wounds.

The man was taken to an area hospital in “critical but stable condition,” police said.
