Two taxi drivers have been robbed at gunpoint since last month in Park Manor on the South Side.

In each case, one or more suspects have ordered a cab before pulling out a handgun during the ride and announcing a robbery, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

The first hold-up happened about 1:10 a.m. Oct. 28 in the 6900 block of South Wabash Avenue, police said. Another happened about 3:15 p.m. Nov. 5 in the 7300 block of South Wabash.

The suspects were described as one or two men between 18 and 25 years old, standing 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 and weighing 140 to 160 pounds, police said.
