Police are warning Near West Side residents about a trio of armed robberies reported in Humboldt Park and West Town earlier this month.

In each case, someone approached people, displayed a handgun and demanded their belongings, Chicago police said in a community alert.

The robberies happened:

  • At 12:50 a.m. July 17 in the 1000 block of North Campbell Avenue
  • At 10:13 p.m. July 21 in the 1900 block of West Superior Street
  • At 3:38 p.m. July 25 in the 2500 block of West Iowa Street

The suspects are described as one to three men between 20 and 30 years of age, police said.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
