A 26-year-old woman was wounded Wednesday in a drive-by in Garfield Park on the West Side.

About 2:35 a.m., the woman was standing with a group of people in the 3100 block of West Madison Street when someone in a passing blue minivan began firing shots at them, Chicago police said.

The woman was struck in the arm and taken to Norwegian American Hospital, police said. She is in good condition.

Area North detectives are investigating the shooting.
