Police are warning Little Village residents after three armed robberies were reported in the past two weeks.

In each case, one to three males approached someone, displayed a weapon, beat them and took their property, Chicago police said in a community alert.

The robberies occurred:

  • About 11 p.m. Aug. 19 in the 3700 Block of West 31st Street;
  • About 7:30 p.m. Aug. 25 in the 3800 Block of West 28th Street; and
  • About 5:30 p.m. Aug. 30 in the 3000 Block of South Hamlin Avenue.
