A 22-year-old man was shot and killed in a vehicle Tuesday in the South Loop.

Craig Bailey was in the vehicle at 7:23 p.m. in the 2000 block of South Michigan Avenue when someone approached him and fired shots, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Bailey, who lived in Morgan Park on the Far South Side, was struck in the head and pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, authorities said.

No arrests have been made as Area Central detectives investigate.
