Catalytic converters stolen from parked vehicles in Back of the Yards, Brighton Park

The thefts happened in the morning hours between Jan. 6 and Feb. 4, police said.

Five catalytic converter thefts have been reported in Feb. 2020 in West Pullman on the Far South Side.

At least four catalytic converters were stolen in January and February on the South Side.

At least four catalytic converters have been stolen from parked vehicles in Back of the Yards and Brighton Park since the start of 2020.

The thefts happened in the morning hours:

· Jan. 6 in the 4800 block of South Hermitage Avenue;

· Jan. 16 in the 4300 block of South Campbell Avenue;

· Feb. 2 in the 4400 block of South Washtenaw Avenue; and

· Feb. 4 in the 3800 block of South Rockwell Street.

Police did not provide a description of any suspects.
