Two people were wounded in an expressway shooting Thursday night in West Pullman on the Far South Side.

The shooting happened about 10:10 p.m. on northbound I-57 at 119th Street, according to a statement from Illinois State Police.

Troopers responded to a hospital and found a male driver and passenger with gunshot wounds that were not life-threatening, state police said.

The ramp at southbound I-57 to 119th was shut down for an investigation between 12:05 a.m. and 1:35 a.m. Friday, state police said.

State police have not released the victims’ ages.
