Carjackers steal woman’s car at gunpoint in Old Town

She was sitting in her parked Honda CR-V in the 200 block of West Scott Street when three males approached and one of them held a gun to her face, police said.

A woman was carjacked at gunpoint Sunday in Old Town on the Near North Side.

The 26-year-old was sitting in her parked Honda CR-V at 10:45 p.m. in the 200 block of West Scott Street when three males approached and one of them held a gun to her face, according to Chicago police.

He demanded her keys and she handed them over, police said. All three suspects then got into the car and drove away.

No injuries were reported, police said. No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
