Man shot to death in Austin

A man was killed in a shooting Sunday in Austin on the West Side.

Someone in a vehicle pulled up beside the 25-year-old man and shot him multiple times about 5:25 a.m. in the 1200 block of North Mason Avenue, Chicago police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as Tyrel Clark of Aurora.

No arrests have been made as Area Five detectives investigate.
