A 41-year-old man was fatally struck by a tow truck Monday in Gage Park on the South Side.

Three unknown males were chasing him in the truck about 7:22 p.m. in the 2900 block of West 51st Street, Chicago police said. They hit him, got into a white car and sped off.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

He was identified as Anthony Walker of Palatine, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy ruled his death a homicide.

No one is in custody as Area One detectives investigate.
