Police are warning Englewood residents of a series of vehicle thefts reported in recent weeks.

In each case, the owners left the keys inside when it was stolen, Chicago police said.

The thefts happened:

  • Between 8 p.m. July 7 and 7:20 p.m July 8 in the 6800 block of South Justine Street;
  • At 6 p.m. July 8 in the 6600 block of South Bishop Street;
  • At 6:30 p.m. July 13 in the 1800 block of West 68th Street;
  • At 7:29 p.m. July 15 in the 6600 block of South Paulina Street; and
  • At 3 p.m. July 18 in the 6400 block of South Wood Street.

A suspect was described as a 15 to 18-year-old male with dreadlocks, police said.
