A man was struck and killed in a hit-and-run on the South Side Nov. 15.

A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run early Monday in Back of the Yards on the South Side.

The man, 59, was riding on the street in the 700 block of West 52nd Street when a driver struck him and fled about 12:45 a.m., Chicago police said.

He suffered head trauma and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he died, police said.

He was identified as Robert Moore by the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

No one was in custody.
