A 14-year-old boy was shot and critically wounded Monday morning on the South Side.

A 14-year-old boy was shot and critically wounded Monday morning in Back of the Yards on the South Side.

The teen was walking about 12:50 a.m. in the 1800 block of West 46th Street, when he was shot multiple times, Chicago police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition with gunshot wounds to his arm and legs, police said.

No one was in custody.
