A 17-year-old boy was shot Sunday night in Lawndale on the West Side.

About 9:40 p.m., he got into an argument with a man in the 4100 block of West Fillmore Street, when the man pulled out a gun and fired several shots, Chicago police said.

He was struck in his left leg and taken to the hospital in good condition, police said. He is being transferred to St. Mary’s Hospital.

Area Four detectives are investigating.
