Two people were shot in the parking lot of a North Aurora grocery store Tuesday evening, in what police said was a targeted attack.

The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. at Woodman’s Market at 151 Hansen Blvd, according to North Aurora Police.

One person, a male, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, police said. The other was also taken there in fair condition.

Three people were later taken into custody but no charges have been announced.
