Boy, 16, identified as Lawndale shooting victim

About 5:45 a.m., a male was found unresponsive in the street with multiple gunshot wounds in the 1300 block of South Millard Avenue, Chicago police said.

Authorities have identified a 16-year-old boy as the victim of a Wednesday morning shooting in Lawndale on the West Side.

Dorian Mcgee was found unresponsive in the street with multiple gunshot wounds around 5:45 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Millard Avenue, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Mcgee, 16, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, authorities said.

Area Four detectives were conducting a homicide investigation.
