Just three days after announcing it would extend its run of “Rent,” Theo Ubique today announced the extension has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict.

The critically acclaimed production sold out is regular run within a week of its opening night earlier this month, and announced on Friday that the run, originally slated to end May 1, would run through May 29. That extension is now cancelled due to a “forthcoming national tour of ‘Rent.” ”

However, the theater company is seeking to add performances on off-nights (the show currently runs Thursdays through Sundays at No Exit Café, 6970 N. Glenwood). An announcement about those performances, if approved, is expected in the next few days.
