Un niño de 8 años murió en un accidente involucrando a media docena de vehículos el lunes por la noche en el suburbio del suroeste, Bedford Park.

El accidente ocurrió a las 10:30 p.m. en Cicero Avenue y State Road, dijo la policía en un comunicado.

Julian Ocegueda, de Burbank, fue llevado al Hospital de Niños Comer y declarado muerto, según la Oficina del Médico Forense del Condado de Cook. Otras ocho personas resultaron heridas.

El jefe de policía de Bedford Park, Tim Hansen, no respondió de inmediato a una solicitud para más información.
