A 17-year-old boy was shot in the right leg Saturday night as he stood outside at West 13th Street and South Lawndale Avenue in Lawndale on the West Side.

It happened just after 9 p.m., according to the police, who said the teenager heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot.

He was good condition at Mount Sinai Hospital, the police said.
