DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

TUESDAY, MARCH 22, 2011

In the morning, the First Family will depart Santiago, Chile en route San Salvador, El Salvador. The departure from the Santiago International Airport and the arrival at Comalapa International Airport are open press.

In the afternoon, the President and First Lady will participate in an arrival ceremony at the National Palace. There will be travel pool coverage. Later, the President and President Mauricio Funes of El Salvador will hold a bilateral meeting. There will be a pool spray at the top of the meeting. The President and President Funes will then hold an expanded bilateral meeting. This meeting is closed press.

Later, the President and President Funes will hold a joint press conference at the National Palace. The joint press conference is open press.

In the evening, the President and the First Lady will attend an official dinner hosted by President Funes at the National Palace. There will be travel pool coverage of the toasts. The dinner is closed press.
