WASHINGTON–White House Senior Advisor David Plouffe hit the Democratic National Committee headquarters here Tuesday morning as new DNC chief Patrick Gaspard held his first all-staff meeting. Plouffe–was the the Obama 2008 campaign manager–who joined the Obama White House earlier this year–he works out of David Axelrod’s former office–was at the DNC to lay out the some of the roadmap for the 2012 Obama re-election campaign. Gaspard moved over to the DNC from the White House, where he was the political director. He replaces now former DNC executive director Jen O’Malley Dillion, who is moving to Chicago to become an Obama 2012 deputy campaign manager.
