Famed fashon designer John Varvatos will be at Nordstrom Michigan Avenue at 6 p.m. Tuesday — joined by photographer Mick Rock and ZZ Top — to promote the release of “John Varvatos: Rock in Fashion,” his new book focusing on how rock style has been showcased by the music community for decades.
The book includes contents of Varvatos’ personal diary — explaining how rock ‘n roll style and photos of rock stars have influenced his own designs — plus their impact on the world of fashion and popular culture for the past five decades.
