Notre Dame landed its 12th four-star recruit for the Class of 2014.

Tyler Luatua, a tight end from La Mirada (Calif.) High School, announced on Twitter that he’s headed to Notre Dame.

“I’m officially committed to the University of Notre Dame,” Luatua wrote on Monday.

Rivals.com ranks the 6-foot-4, 230-pound Luatua No. 13 among all tight ends for 2014. He is the 22nd player in the class to orally commit to the Irish.
