The producers of “Motown The Musical” are holding a “Makin’ It Motown” open casting call in Chicago— part of a nationwide search for African-American singers for both the ongoing Broadway production in New York, and the national tour of the hit musical. That national tour kicks off in Chicago in April at the Oriental Theatre.

This week’s Chicago auditions will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Oriental Theatre, 24 W. Randolph.

The show is produced by Motown legend Berry Gordy, Kevin McCollum and Doug Morris. For more information on the Chicago audition and its requirements go to MotownTheMusical.com/casting.
