FOOD FOR THOUGHT: The past quarter-century sure has spun by, but for the last 25 years, Dick’s Last Resort, now located at 315 N. Dearborn, overlooking the Chicago River, has been a popular watering hole of many of Our Town’s denizens — plus a ton of happy tourists.

To toast their big anniversary, there will be a big 25th birthday party at Dick’s Wednesday — hosted by Mancow Muller and “You and Me This Morning’s” Aly Bockler. Word has it, bestselling celebrity fitness guru, Dr. Ian Smith will also be stopping by to monitor everyone’s caloric intake!

The good news: The event will benefit the programs of the Starlight Children’s Foundation Midwest.
