Though Daryl “The Captain” Dragon told TMZ he has no idea why — the musician’s wife of 39 years — singer Toni Tennille, the other half of their Captain & Tennille act — has filed for divorce in Arizona.

So much for muskrat love.

The duo, who had mega-hits in the ‘70s with such songs as “Love Will Keep Us Together” (at least for 39 years), “Muskrat Love” and “Do That To Me One More Time,” were discovered by Neil Sedaka, while they were performing at a restaurant in Burbank, Calif.
