Two men who were killed in a South Side crash early Sunday on the Bishop Ford Expressway (I-94) have been identified.

Lamont F. Taylor Jr., 25, and Darryl B. Clark, 26, were in a car that was speeding when it struck the back of a semi truck about 2:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the Bishop Ford at Cottage Grove Avenue, according to Illinois State Police.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. Taylor lived in the 4500 block of South Drexel, and Clark in the 10400 block of South Sangamon, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Autopsies Monday found both men died from multiple injuries from the crash and ruled their deaths to be accidents, the medical examiner’s office said.
