A man was shot Wednesday in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.

The shooting happened a few minutes before noon in the 100 block of West Marquette Road, police News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada said.

The 22-year-old man was shot in the hand and taken in good condition to Saint Bernard’s, Estrada said.
