The crash happened on southbound Route 47 north of the railroad tracks at Main Street about 7:30 a.m., according to a statement from Huntley police.

A 1997 Oldsmobile struck a 2003 Honda from behind, which was pushed partially under a school bus, police said.

No one was hurt in the crash, police said. Only the driver and one 18-year-old student were on board the School District 158 bus.

The driver of the Honda, a 30-year-old Huntley woman, was issued a citation for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
