A construction worker died after falling from a building Monday morning in the South Side Kenwood neighborhood.

Justin Martin, 38, fell from the top of a building at Hyde Park Boulevard and Lake Park Avenue at 9:10 a.m., according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Martin, of the 8900 block of Mallard Drive in Tinley Park, was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:23 a.m., authorities said.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

A police source said the death appears to have been a suicide
