DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2015

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

In the afternoon, the President will meet with members of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST); the Vice President will also attend. The meeting in the Roosevelt Room is closed press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will deliver brief remarks to an audience of criminal justice activists, state and local elected officials, and community leaders gathered for a screening of “Fixing the System,” an upcoming special documentary by VICE Media on criminal justice reform airing September 27 on HBO, that features the President’s visit to El Reno Federal Correctional Institution. There will be pool coverage of the President’s remarks in the South Court Auditorium.
