(AURORA) A fire caused roughly $120,000 in damage to a west suburban Aurora home Thursday night.

Firefighters responded to the 1500 block of Pine Lake Drive at 9:55 p.m. and found the roof over the porch and the home’s attic on fire, according to an Aurora Fire Department statement.

Neighbors found the fire and first called 911, the statement said. Everyone was able to make it out of the home safely and no one was hurt.

It took firefighters and hour to bring the fire under control, the statement said. The fire did $120,000 in damage to the home.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation Friday.
