A CTA bus was damaged early Thursday when someone shot at it in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.

A male fired a BB gun at the bus about 5:50 a.m. in the first block of East 87th Street, according to Chicago police. Video of the bus showed a shattered window.

No injuries were reported and no one was in custody, police said.
