A west suburban Cicero man was shot and killed Friday night in the West Garfield Park neighborhood, authorities said.

About 6:30 p.m., two males got out of a yellow vehicle and began shooting at 21-year-old Deangelo Pleasant as he stood on a porch in the 4700 block of West West End Avenue, Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

The gunmen got back into the vehicle and drove off after the shooting, which was believed to be gang-related, police said.

Pleasant was shot in his head and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

Area North detectives are investigating.
