A man was shot Thursday evening in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

Just before 8 p.m., the 25-year-old was in the 4500 block of West Congress when he was shot in the upper back on his left side, according to Chicago Police.

He later showed up at West Suburban Medical Center, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
