A 65-year-old man was wounded in a West Pullman neighborhood shooting Sunday night on the Far South Side.

About 9:40 p.m., he was in the backyard of a home in the 12100 block of South Wentworth when someone opened fire from the alley, striking him in the lower back and right arm, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
