Man shot in Humboldt Park

A 34-year-old man was shot Friday night in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

He was standing on the corner at 6:40 p.m. in the 3800 block of West Division when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg and took himself to Norwegian American Hospital, police said. He was later transferred to Stroger Hospital, where he is listed in good condition.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
