Man shot in Lake View

A man was shot early Monday in the Lake View neighborhood on the North Side.

The 25-year-old was standing on the sidewalk at 2:09 a.m. in the 3400 block of North Clark when another male walked up and opened fire, striking him in the left shoulder, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
