A man was shot Thursday night in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

About 10:55 p.m., the 18-year-old heard gunshots while he was outside in the 3600 block of West Douglas Boulevard, Chicago Police said.

He was shot in his arm and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

Area Central detectives were investigating the shooting.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
