A man was shot Tuesday morning in the South Side Chatham neighborhood.

The shooting happened at 11:59 a.m. in the 8100 block of South Drexel, according to Chicago Police.

The 21-year-old victim was shot in the left thigh and was taken in good condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
