A man walked into a hospital early Sunday in west suburban Oak Park with multiple gunshot wounds.

The 23-year-old man walked into West Suburban Medical Center with gunshot wounds to his right thigh and left ankle, police said. He is listed in good condition.

The man told police he was standing on the sidewalk in the 1600 block of North Elston about 4:30 a.m. when a black SUV drove by and someone inside opened fire.

However, police did not find a crime scene on that block.

A police source said the shooting may be gang-related.
