A man was shot Friday evening in a drive-by attack in the Southwest Side Little Village neighborhood.

The 28-year-old was with a group of friends shortly before 9:30 p.m. when someone in a passing vehicle opened fire in the 2400 block of South Whipple, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the leg and taken by a friend to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said. He was in good condition.
