A woman was shot early Sunday in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood on the South Side.

About 3:15 a.m., the 41-year-old was stopped at a stop sign in the 2200 block of South Wolcott when someone fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The woman was shot in the right arm and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
