Jay Carney, the former White House press secretary and newly-appointed CNN contributor opened up about his previous job in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. And while he often was grilled by the media, he has no problem identifying the worst question he received.
There was one guy, Les Kinsolving [of WorldNetDaily], who asked about bestiality.
Kinsolving’s questions were often blown off by Carney, but this one in 2011 was a real gem.
The exact question went something like this:
“Does the commander-in-chief approve or disapprove of bestiality in our armed forces?” Kinsolving asked.
And here’s the video from the exchange, in which the other reporters’ reactions are worth taking note of:
Coming in at No. 2 on the “worst questions” list is Donald Trump.
“There was a lot of ridiculousness over the president’s birth certificate that was fueled by (Donald) Trump,” Carney said. “A lot of reporters jumped on that knowing it was ridiculous.”
Don’t worry though. Carney wasn’t annoyed by it at all.
“It’s part of the deal,” Carney said. “I loved it. I didn’t have a single bad day.”
