Recent indications are promising, but it’s still undecided whether Alshon Jeffery will be returning to the Bears.

One thing that’s not undecided about Jeffery’s future, though, is where his presidential support lies.

Whether he’s in Chicago or elsewhere, look for the free-agent wide receiver to be lining up behind Hillary Clinton.

The former South Carolina Gamecock was quoted in The State:

“This election is too important for me to sit on the sidelines. She is the most qualified person for the job, and I know she is ready to lead on day one. I am happy to get in the game for Secretary Clinton.”

Jeffery is appearing at two South Carolina rallies for Clinton on Friday, according to The State.
