The Cambridge, Massachusetts, indietronica band Passion Pit will provide the soundtrack at the World’s Largest Block Party, the summer romp this year taking place June 25.
Old St. Patrick’s Church, which puts on the party, announced Thursday that Michael Angelakos’ band will be the headliner and rocker JD McPherson also will be on the bill at the 32nd annual event.
The Block Party, known as a hotbed of matchmaking, takes place at the UIC Festival Lot on Morgan Street between Taylor and Roosevelt.
