Police are looking for three people who robbed a McDonald’s at gunpoint Wednesday night in north suburban Waukegan.

Officers were called about an armed robbery at the restaurant in the 1000 block of Waukegan Road at 10:40 p.m., according to Waukegan police.

Three suspects entered the McDonald’s, two carrying handguns, and robbed the cashier and one customer, police said.

Two employees were treated by paramedics at the scene, according to police. One of them requested to be checked because she was pregnant, while the other had a sore arm because she had been forced to the floor. Neither was taken to a hospital.

Police said all three suspects were black males with their faces covered, and they drove away in a dark-colored SUV.

Anyone with information about the robbery should call the police tip line at (847) 360-9001.
